1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Joomer platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Platform Access and Permitted Use

Joomer grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access and use the Platform for lawful booking and storefront activities. You may not:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity
  • Misrepresent your identity, offerings, or credentials
  • Attempting to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the Platform
  • Circumvent security controls, payment processes, or account restrictions
  • Reproduce, mirror, scrape, or redistribute Platform content without authorization

3. User Accounts and Responsibility

When you create an account on the Joomer Platform, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree that all information provided during registration is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for ensuring that your profile does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.

4. Booking Terms and Conditions

For Clients: When you book a service through the Platform, you agree to the package details, deliverables, and timelines presented before checkout. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

For Creators: By accepting bookings on the Platform, you agree to deliver the services as described in your storefront and packages. Failure to complete booked services may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Payments, Fees, and Milestone Disbursement

Joomer facilitates secure payment processing for bookings made on the Platform. Clients pay in full at booking, and milestone disbursements are processed as follows:

  • 30% on booking confirmation
  • 20% on event day
  • 50% on delivery of agreed deliverables

Applicable Platform fees, if any, are disclosed during checkout or in creator terms before booking confirmation.

6. Verification, Package Contracts, and Quality Standards

All creators on the Joomer Platform must pass verification to ensure quality and trustworthiness. Verification includes:

  • Identity verification and background checks
  • Portfolio review and quality assessment
  • Professional credentials and references
  • Compliance with our community standards

Packages include default contracts. Creators may upload custom contracts, but packages are only available after contract review and approval by Joomer.

Joomer reserves the right to suspend or remove creators who fail to maintain our quality standards or violate our policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Joomer, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Platform or services provided, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a client and a creator, Joomer provides a dispute resolution process. Both parties agree to submit to this process in good faith. Decisions made by our dispute resolution team are final and binding.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Joomer Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Joomer or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit content without our express written permission.

Creators retain ownership of their portfolios and work. By uploading content to Joomer, you grant Joomer a license to display and promote your work on the Platform.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in the following conduct:

  • Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users
  • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempting to circumvent Platform fees by conducting transactions outside of Joomer
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Unauthorized access to or interference with Platform systems
  • Posting spam, malware, or malicious content

11. Termination

Joomer reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Platform. Termination may result in forfeiture of funds in your account.

12. Changes to Terms

Joomer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Joomer Platform are governed by the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ghana.
